When Brian Quintenz left the CFTC in 2021, he wasn’t exactly rich. The bulk of his assets, listed on his final financial disclosure form, included a small IRA, a whole life insurance policy, a basement apartment he rented out, a coin collection, artwork and some antiques. His bank account had between $1,000 and $15,000 in cash.
